ABOUT ME
Welcome to my page! I am a student teacher at Crockett High School in Austin Texas, where I teach advanced chemistry. I developed a passion for education early in college career, where I assisted in teaching chemistry, organic chemistry, and laboratory practices to my peers and underclassmen. Since then, I have developed a passion for working with children and for science and medical literacy. I originally hail from Baytown, Texas, but am working to complete my Biochemistry Degree. I will be attending medical school in the fall of 2023.
My Career Objective
I decided to pursue a teaching certification as I am interested in medical education. I hope to pursue the fields of pediatrics and oncology, but plan to teach at the medical level. As a student teacher, I have learned better strategies to deliver relevant, community based lessons to my students, while focusing on mental and physical health. Furthermore, I have garnered invaluable experience working with children. I plan to carry these skills forward into my medical career.
